The T-Rex Cafe

The same company known as Landry's that had made the Rainforest Cafe had also made the T-rex Cafe. Now, I've never eaten there, but saw the website and it looked really cool. This time the restaurant is a prehistoric themed restaurant with animatronic dinosaurs, wolly mamoths, mastadons, etc. So everthing is dino themed. I had then seen on You tube the grand opening of this themed restaurant in Disney World. When we went to Disney in 2007, they were still working on it, so it wasn't open yet, and I didn't notice it within the Animal Kingdom. Anyway, as a dinolover I was blown away at this place. It was wild, fun, and colorful. Everything looked really cool, and I almost died of jealosy. My jaw had dropped as I saw the restaurant's cool features, as they have a cool fossil diging exhibit for the kids, tons of lifesized dinosaurs on display, and lots of roaring, growling, and screeching from all the prehistoric creatures that were there. Even the menu had dinosaur named items for their meals.
I felt like I missed out, although the place wasn't ready for business yet, but we don't go to DisneyWorld all that often. Most other people go more often, as they probably live within 1-2 hours away from there. But if you need to take a plane, make hotel reservations, buy tickets to the park, etc. Then it's more like a vacation, then just a fun day and the expenses would easily go through the roof. I would love to go there for lunch or any meal, just so long as I don't become lunch for one of the dinos there.
